Open Floor is a conscious dance practice where we use movement as a resource to explore, learn, have fun and heal

I offer one-on-one Open Floor Movement sessions and regularly run Open Floor Movement Practice classes and workshops.
What to expect on the Open Floor:
On the Open Floor we dance in our own individual way. The invitation is to move and include
the lovely juicy moments when we feel connected and confident, as well as the challenging ones,
shyness, pain in the body, feeling not good enough. This is how we learn to live an embodied life
where we are free to experience all the wild and subtle moments that make up our lives.
Classes begin with a 30 minute warm-up with minimal instruction. We will then begin to explore the theme
of the class and will end with a closing circle.
Wear loose comfortable clothes; layers are great for when you warm up / cool down.
Bring a water bottle - you may sweat!
We dance barefoot or in dance / indoor shoes. Please don't wear shoes that you have worn outside.
Eveyone welcome; whatever your age or fitness level. No dance experience required,
just a willingness to move and be curious. Come Dance!
